Don't be afraid of washing, because silk fabric is durable enough and cannot be damaged so easily. Follow the care tips and everything will work out.

During the first wash, colored silk bleed the water - this is normal, and it does not mean that the fabric will fade. Just wash with similar colors.

🖐️ Hand washing is the safest choice

  • Wash in cool or likewarm water (up to 30 ° C).
  • Use a gentle, silk-specific detergent,
  • Do not rub the fabric - gently swish it in the water.
  • Avoid soaking for more than 3-5 minutes. 

🌊 Washing machine – only with care

  • use laundry bag.
  • wash in a “delicate” or “silk” program (without spinning or at a very low speed).
  • temperature:no higher than 30°C.
  • Detergent – only liquid, without enzymes and bleaches.

🚫 Do not:

  • Do not use bleaches, fabric softeners or products containing enzymes.
  • Do not hang silk in direct sunlight or on a radiator. 
  • Do not dry in a tumble dryer.

🌥️ Drying and ironing silk

  •  Squeeze out excess water with a towel
  • Dry flat in a shaded place at room temperature.
  •  Iron from the inside, at a low temperature (“silk” indicator), when the fabric is still slightly damp. This makes it easier to iron out fine wrinkles in the fabric.
  • Recommendations to use an ironing cloth or gauze between the silk and the iron. You can also iron without an ironing cloth.
